This past Sunday I met up with this family in Old Town. I don’t know if they know it or not, but they hold a special place in my heart. I have never admitted this online but I had my biggest goof as a photographer ever with this family at their newborn session last year. I showed up at their beautiful home, set up my newborn set, got baby Caleb nice and posed and went to shoot my first shot. Only to realize that I had no memory card in my camera. Not only did I not have one in my camera, I had none in my bag. That’s right folks…NONE! They were all at home on my desk sitting in a nice neat pile after being formatted and prepped for their session. I was mortified…..but let me tell you this family handled it like a gem. Grandma drove me to the nearest Target so I could purchase memory cards and the session went on. I have never been so utterly thrown for a loop. But they didn’t hold it against me! They didn’t make me feel as awful as I was feeling inside. They were laid back and we had fun and the session turned out great. AND believe me….lesson was learned! I always have a secret large unopened memory card in my camera bag from now on:o)

I was so happy when Mom contacted me a couple of months back about scheduling another session. See they had moved…far away. To Louisiana!! But they were going to be back in town and wanted me (their absent minded photographer) to shoot another session. What a blessing I have getting to see these families grow!

It was so great to see you guys again. I hope you like the sneak peek!
