How Old Are You???

Two!!!! (who cares if I am holding five fingers up! - I am screaming two!)

Thats right - my baby girl turned two this past weekend. I can hardly believe it. I should know by now that time flies, but wow - I am not ready for this. I was just saying on her Birthday ”I love this age - she is so wonderful”. Now I truely think she is wonderful but wow did those terrible two’s hit already!!! I guess it is not so terrible, just the age of independence. Yesterday she did not want me to help her out of her PJ’s, or to put her clothes on, or when I picked her up from daycare - to wear her jacket, or hold my hand when crossing the street…. oh we can go on and on :o)

Anyways, here are a few snaps while waiting for grandma to come over on her birthday - I plan on doing an actual two year old session soon!

Oh how I love this little mama :o)

…Sweet…

That is the perfect word to describe this adorable 6 day old! I had a great time on Sunday spending time with Mom, Dad and adorable Baby C. Afterall, we had plenty of time to talk because little C did not want to miss out on anything -  it took over 2 hours for her to fall asleep! She is so precious and Mom and Dad are clearly smitten with her J  Congratulations J & S – I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Fun Family Session!

I had a wonderful time yesterday with this family. The kids had attended their homecoming the night before so I was sure they would have rather been at home getting a little more rest - but instead they were super nice and put up with all of my crazyness :) Thanks S, K & W - hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

Love doing late afternoon sessions for the pretty golden sun!

Like I said - they were up for anything!

Oh Boy!(s)

LOL - I couldn’t wait to do this session with this family of 3 boys - 7 year old big brother and (almost) 2 year old twins.  Little boys are so much fun - you never really know what to expect (except for the fact they usually will be on the move!) - I should have known they would be a fun laid back bunch of kiddos (Dad was a former coworker and I knew they were a pretty laid back family).  I had a great time D & S - I love that you and your neighbors are so close that they stopped by to check on things :o)

Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

And I loved the expressions on the twins faces in this one…PRICELESS!

Cute family!!!

So this past weekend, I experienced something completely new for me - pet photography!  I loved this family with their two little ones. Hannah and Riley were so good to me. Especially considering that all my “little tricks” for children do not work on dogs and the fact that the brilliant photographer (ME!) chooses a location that just happens to have a dog walk going on the very day and time of the session…. but Hannah and Riley stuck with me - only getting distracted by the 100’s of other dogs walking by just a few times. And Mom and Dad (J&K) - thanks so much for going with my “more artistic” ideas :o)

Hope you enjoy your sneak peak!!!

one of my favorites of Hannah!

and a favorite of Riley!

DEFINITELY one of my fav family shots!!
