This week I braved the snow to go visit Lana, Dave, Lauren, Carmen and the newest member of their family - baby Hope! I first had the privilege of meeting this family back in July of 2008 on Carmen’s 2nd Birthday at her Celebration of Life Party. Although we did not have much time to talk that day as Lana and Dave were literally surrounded by soooo many family and friends, it was evident that this was one amazing family. A family of unbelievable strength, love, faith and courage. They have stayed in my thoughts ever since that day and I was so happy when I heard Lana was expecting another little one. I was pretty much over the moon when she contacted me about doing a newborn session - yipee! So even blizzards wouldn’t keep me away from meeting baby Hope!
Lana & Dave she is absolutely beautiful and I am so very happy for you - hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

Lana & Dave - I caught Hope’s precious little smile when you had your backs turned….he, he, he.
And one of my favorites from the day…. Hope and her big sisters

And this last one is for dad! Go Steelers!

Well can anyone guess her name??

How adorable are these brothers?
Like I said - fabulous family…
Absolutely LOVE this one… can’t you see many fun times to come with these brothers?
And last but not least… this pretty much captured the energy of the session!!!

Thank you Julia for inviting me along!!!
Some of the gorgeous details…
After the ceremony, we walked to the train station a block away. Love this fun shot with her veil blowing. Unfortunately, this train was filled with waste and we had to hightail it out of there because it stunk so bad. Lisa & Mike - thanks for being good sports :o)
Mike got his groomsmen the same type of cufflinks he wore (the old typewriter keys). I am pretty sure I lost any cool points with them when I told them that their links spelled “awesome”. O-S-M. Really guys, I was kidding!

And a couple fun ones from the reception - this was definitely a dancing bunch!
